Using Template Link Types

We offer two types of links within our Templates:

  • Common Link - the same link for all members

  • Unique Link - a unique link for each member

Common Link: This link will be the same for all members assigned to the template. Ex: Office Address, Company Linkedin.

Unique Link: This link will allow you to have a different link for each member assigned to the template.

Ex: Each member's Phone Number, Social Media, etc.

To add a unique link for each member, from inside your template, navigate to the 'Links' > '+ Add Link'.

Select the link you'd like to add and choose Unique Link.

You will be brought to the link to continue editing.

From here, you can choose to allow members to edit their links which they can do from their account.

You can upload a CSV that includes each member's unique link information.

Note: No need to create new CSV files each time! You can use the same CSV throughout our dashboard and select the desired fields needed when mapping. We will always map using the member email address, so please ensure emails are correct.

Or you can manually enter your member's unique value.

Once satisfied, select 'update' to save your changes.

Note: Unique links that are left blank will not appear on the member's card until a value is entered.

Converting Common Links to Unique Links

Utilize unique links for your team's digital business cards.

You may choose to create a template from an existing card. When doing this, all links will be default links. This means all members assigned to the template will have the same information.

If you'd like each team member to have different links, you can use unique links.

Note: Once converted, you can not undo this change. Click here to learn more about unique links.

Click into templates, then click links. You will see recommended links or the links you have already added to your template.

From within the content section of your template, click on the default link you'd like to convert to a unique link.

Select 'unique link'

You will be brought back into your unique link to update the values for your members.

Now you can allow members assigned to this template to edit their unique link OR fill in their unique link in the provided field
