Follow the steps below to troubleshoot and get back into your account!
Step 1: Attempt to Log In
You can log into your Popl account using either:
The Popl App (📱)
The Popl Dashboard (💻)
Tip: If you’re using the Popl App, make sure it’s updated to the latest version in your device’s app store. If you're experiencing issues logging in via the dashboard, try using an incognito or private browsing mode to bypass potential browser-related problems, as well as clearing your cache and trying again.
Step 2: Confirm You’re Using the Correct Email
Double-check that:
You’re using the same email you used to create your account
There are no spaces or typos in the email field.
Any active VPN or specific Wi-Fi settings are temporarily disabled, as these may interfere with the login process.
Still can’t log in? Move on to resetting your password.
Step 3: Reset Your Password
Tap “Sign in with email”
Click “Reset Password”
Check your inbox for the reset password email and follow the link provided
If the link is broken, doesn’t load, or doesn’t direct you to a password reset page, type “Talk to a person 👤” in chat or email us at [email protected]. Be sure to include:
Your Popl account email
Your Popl username
Step 4: Log In With Your New Password
Try logging in again using your correct email and new password.
If it still doesn’t work, try any other email addresses you may have used when first creating your account. Additionally, check for device-specific issues like corporate restrictions that may hinder website access, and consider switching to a personal device.
Preventive Measures for Seamlessly Logging In
To ensure a smoother login experience in the future, consider these steps:
Use the same login method consistently, such as 'Sign in with Apple,' to reduce syncing errors.
Enable iCloud Keychain for securely storing your login credentials. Navigate to
Settings > [Your Apple ID] > Passwords & Security > iCloud Keychain
on your iPhone to activate it.
Address Access Permission Issues
In some cases, you might be blocked from accessing your account due to administrator-controlled permissions. Ensure you are part of a group with access assigned by an administrator. If blocked, contact your administrator to request the necessary access permissions.
Account Creation Issues
Resolving Blank Screen Errors
If you encounter a blank screen during account creation, this could mean the registration process wasn't completed previously. Here's how to address it:
Retry creating the account with your desired email, as the system may have cleared your previous attempt.
Use a different internet browser or switch to incognito/private browsing mode to avoid browser-related problems.
Alternatively, register through the Popl mobile app available on your smartphone.
Device-Specific Challenges
When using work devices, corporate IT policies may cause restrictions. To resolve:
Contact your IT department to confirm any limitations.
Use a personal device, such as a smartphone, and download the Popl app to complete your registration.
Account Setup Flow on Popl
On the Popl website, the 'Create Account' button directs you to a setup form resembling a personal business card profile. This is designed to streamline account creation. Complete the form to finalize your digital card setup and update details as needed.
