Deleting a Popl account

Learn how to delete your Popl account.

Overview

Required Subscription: All users have access to delete their individual profiles.

Learn how to permanently delete a Popl account as an individual from the app or as a team admin through the Teams dashboard.

Deleting an account does not cancel a subscription. To cancel a subscription, please visit the links below:

You can create a new account after deleting your previous one. However, all data from the deleted account will be lost and cannot be transferred to the new account.

Deleting Your Account as an Individual

As a free, Pro, or Pro Plus user, you can delete your Popl account directly from the Popl app in just a few taps:

  1. Open the Popl App

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Tap Edit Account Details

  4. Tap Delete Account

    Note: Ensure your Popl app is updated to the latest version before proceeding.

Important: This action is permanent and will remove all associated data from your account. We cannot reverse this action. Additionally, deleting your account will deactivate any associated QR codes and remove all saved data, including digital cards and leads.

If you are unable to delete your account from your mobile device, please reach out to us via email at [email protected] or the chat messenger on the dashboard with your email address and Popl profile link.

Please include your full name and the email address associated with your account to facilitate the process.

Note: Please make sure that your Popl app is updated to the latest version.


Deleting a Member's Account (Teams)

If you need to fully remove a team member and delete all associated data, follow these simple steps from your Popl Teams dashboard. Note that only a Popl Teams admin can authorize and initiate account deletion for managed accounts.

Note: You cannot delete your account from the mobile app as a Teams admin or member.

How to Delete a Member’s Account

  1. Log in to your Teams Dashboard

  2. Click into the member’s card you’d like to delete

  3. Tap the three dots (•••) in the top-right corner

  4. Select Delete Member

  5. Confirm by clicking Yes, Delete Member

Important: This action is permanent and will remove all associated data from your account. We cannot reverse this action.

Keep in mind: Deleting a member will delete all data associated with that member (i.e., leads, insights, cards).

If you do not want to delete the member's data, you can choose the Remove member option instead. This will remove the member from your team but allow them to keep their card with their data.


Deleting the entire Teams account
