Overview
Required Subscriptions: Exclusively with the Event Lead Capture plan for teams.
Mobile users can now assign leads to campaigns, view a lead’s campaign, and edit campaign assignments all from within the Popl app.
Users can also be assigned to multiple active campaigns at once and can self-assign themselves to campaigns they weren’t originally assigned to (based on admin settings).
Keep in mind: Campaign assignment determines which campaign a lead is attributed to during capture and helps keep reporting organized across events.
Campaign Assignment Logic
To assign a lead to a campaign from your mobile app:
Click into the lead
Tap the 'Select Campaign' dropdown
From the dropdown, select the campaign
You're all set. Your change will save automatically.
Default State (Not Assigned to Any Campaign)
If a user has not been assigned to any campaign, the campaign selector will appear empty.
First-Time Assignment
When a user assigns a lead to a campaign for the first time, the user is automatically assigned to that campaign as well. No admin action is required.
When Assigned to a Single Active Campaign
If a user is assigned to only one active campaign, the selector will default to that campaign for all lead creation during the campaign’s active period.
When Assigned to Multiple Active Campaigns
If a user is assigned to multiple active campaigns:
The campaign ending soonest will display by default in the selector
This same campaign will also be applied to any lead capture form submissions where the Popl user cannot manually pick a campaign during creation
Assigning to Non-Active Campaigns
Mobile users can assign leads to completed campaigns. Doing so also assigns the user to that completed campaign if they weren’t already assigned.
Campaign Reassignment & Qualifiers
Leads can be reassigned to a different campaign at any time (this includes assignment to completed campaigns).
To reassign a lead's campaign from your mobile app:
Click into the lead
Tap 'Edit Lead'
From the campaign dropdown, select the new campaign
Tap 'Save' to save the changes.
When reassigning a lead to a different campaign:
No qualifier data is deleted
Any qualifiers shared across both campaigns are preserved
If the lead is reassigned back to the original campaign, all original qualifiers and responses will reappear
In the web dashboard, all qualifiers and values (past and present) always remain visible for full context

Team Settings Updates
You can now manage campaign workflows using admin-controlled toggles in Team Settings.
1. Allow Self-Assignment
Default: ON
Let users assign themselves to campaigns that admins haven’t manually assigned them to
Required for enabling any user-driven campaign changes on mobile
2. Require Campaign Selection
When ON, users must select a campaign before saving any lead in the mobile app
This toggle can only be enabled if Allow Self-Assignment is also ON
Tip: Teams using required campaign selection may want to create a long-running “catch-all” campaign for general use. This is ideal for leads captured outside of specific, event-tracked campaigns
