Ask Popl - Copilot Setup

Connect Ask Popl to Microsoft Copilot to analyze event leads, create ROI reports, enrich contacts, prospect attendees, and answer questions about your event data using natural language.

Overview

Required subscription: The Popl Copilot agent is currently available to customers (both admins and members) on an Event Lead Capture (ELC) plan. If you are not on an ELC plan and would like access, please request a demo here.

Popl enrichment credit usage: Each contact enriched through the Popl Copilot agent will use 0.25 Popl credits.

Ask Popl is a native Copilot agent that allows Copilot to securely access data from your Popl account.

Once connected, Ask Popl can help you:

  • Prospect contacts before an event

You can ask questions in Copilot and receive answers based on your Popl data and connected CRM data.


Connect the Ask Popl Copilot Agent


Step 1: Confirm you are a Microsoft 365 administrator

Before installing Popl for Copilot, make sure you have Microsoft 365 administrator permissions for your organization.


Step 2: Open the All Agents page

Navigate to the All Agents page in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center:

Step 3: Add a new agent

In the upper-right corner, click the three dots next to the Export button, then select Add agent.


Step 4: Upload the Popl for Copilot ZIP file

A window will appear allowing you to upload an agent package.

Click Choose file, then upload this zip file:


Step 5: Configure installation settings

As the administrator, you’ll have two options:

1. Pre-install Popl for Copilot for certain users

We recommend enabling Pre-install for all users across your organization.

  • Select: "Entire organization"

This ensures users automatically have access to Popl for Copilot.


2. Select who can install Popl for Copilot

We recommend allowing all users to install Popl for Copilot.

  • Select: "All users in the organization can install"

This gives everyone in your organization access to the agent.

Can I change agent permissions?
