Add your QR code widget directly to your smartphone’s home screen to easily share and access your digital business card.
Your QR code widget will share your main digital card set in your Popl App or Popl dashboard.
You can share your card via your QR code widget in addition to many other share methods (learn more about other share methods here).
iPhone: How to add Popl Widgets to your Home Screen
Step 1
Unlock your iPhone and go to your home screen. Find the Popl app and hard press so it displays the options listed in the image below:
Step 2
Select your preferred widget shape and size (I.e., one of the three differently shaped icons listed at the bottom of the menu)
Note: If you don't see this button, you may need to update your iOS!
Step 3
Finally, drag your widget anywhere on your home screen. We recommend placing it on your first page for instant sharing 📲
Android: How to add Popl Widgets to your Home Screen
Step 1
Unlock your Android and go to your home screen. Tap on the "Widgets" option.
Step 2
Scroll down to "Popl" and select one of the three widgets to add.
Step 3
Lastly, drag and drop your newly added widget to your first home screen.
Sharing via QR Code
Quickly share your digital card by having another person scan your QR code with their phone camera.
You can also share the QR code in other ways, as mentioned at the beginning of this article.
