All text fields in Popl, with the exception of the "Save Contact" button, are free-text. Meaning they can be customized into whatever verbiage or language you need. NOTE: Currently, Popl does not translate text into other languages. You will need to type out the translations yourself or utilize a translation service like Google Translate.
For example, let's say you'd like to create a digital business card that is better suited to your non-english speaking clientele.
Start by either duplicating an existing card or create a new card from scratch.
Duplicating an Existing Card
Use this option if you'd like your new card to be an exact copy of your main card.
Log into your dashboard by going to dash.popl.co
Click into your member profile
Click on the three (3) dots in the top right of the dashboard
Click "Duplicate Card"
Create a New Card from Scratch
Use this option if you'd like to create an entirely new card. NOTE: No information will carry over from your main card.
Log into your dashboard by going to dash.popl.co
Click into your member profile
Click on the dropdown bar in the center right of the dashboard
Click "Create a New Card"
Edit the card title of your new card
Click "Continue" and finally "Create Card"
Once your new card has been created, go into each text field (Name, Job Title, Bio, etc.) and customize the verbiage into whatever language you need. NOTE: Currently, Popl does not translate text into other languages. You will need to type out the translations yourself or utilize a translation service like Google Translate.
How to Customize Link Titles into another Language
Click into the link you'd like to edit
Click into the "Link Title" field and enter in the verbiage you'd like to use
Click "Update" to save the changes
How to Customize the Lead Capture Form into another Language
Click into your profile and then click "Lead Capture"
Click into each field and enter the verbiage you'd like to use
Click "Update" to save the changes
How to Customize the "Save Contact" Button into another Language
Currently, the "Save Contact" button can only be customized by our internal team. To change the text of this button into another language please reach out to [email protected] and provide them with the exact text you'd like to use. NOTE: This change request may take between 24-48 hours.
