This article explains how admins can manage team assets in the Popl Dashboard.

Team assets let you upload images for logos, cover photos, link icons, and virtual backgrounds, ensuring consistent branding across your team’s digital business cards. Only admins can add, edit, or delete assets.

Note: Team members assigned locked cards or templates may not be able to change certain design elements. Learn more about locking a card and using templates.

Types of team assets

Admins can upload the following types of assets for team use:

  • Logos: Company logos that appear on digital business cards.

  • Cover photos: Banner images at the top of digital cards.

  • Link icons: Small icons displayed next to links on cards for a visual touch.

  • Virtual backgrounds: Background images for virtual meetings and video calls.

Uploading these assets ensures your team has a cohesive, branded experience.

How to add a team asset

Follow these steps to upload team assets:

  1. Log in to the Popl dashboard.

  2. Go to Admin > Team Assets.

  3. Click + Create Team Asset in the top right corner, or choose a specific asset type (e.g., logos, cover photos) and click Select File.

  4. Upload your image file.

  5. Hover over the icon for each asset type to view ideal dimensions.

Keep in mind: Once uploaded, team members will see these assets as options when customizing their digital business cards.

Common issue: If team members can’t see or use certain assets, confirm their card isn’t locked or restricted by a template.

Deleting a team asset

If you need to remove a team asset:

  1. Locate the asset you want to delete in the Team Assets page.

  2. Click the three dots next to the asset.

  3. Select Delete Asset.

  4. Refresh the page to ensure the changes are reflected.

Deleting an asset removes it from team members’ available options.
