Overview
Popl offers multiple card layout designs so users and teams can customize how their digital business cards are displayed. This article walks through how to preview and update your layout and explains each of the available options.
Whether you're managing a team or updating your personal card, these settings are accessible via your dashboard and apply in real time.
Layout Overview
Card layouts control how your information, links, and media appear on your Popl profile. You can switch layouts at any time based on your preference or your team’s branding standards.
Note: Layouts apply to both your desktop view and mobile app immediately after saving.
How to Change Your Card Layout
Log into dash.popl.co
Click on your digital card to open the About section
3. Find the Card Layout dropdown menu
4. Select your preferred layout
5. Click Update to save your changes
Keep in mind: Changes will appear on both the dashboard and mobile app instantly.
Layout Options
Below are the current design options available for all Popl cards.
Left Aligned Layout
Center Aligned Layout
Portrait Layout
Left Aligned Layout
This layout places your profile picture and core information on the left side of the card, with your links and media aligned to the right.
Ideal for professional or corporate teams who prioritize structured, minimal designs.
Center Aligned layout:
This layout centers all content including your profile picture, name, title, and links. It offers a balanced and clean presentation ideal for personal branding.
Good for creative industries, founders, or solo consultants.
Portrait layout:
This layout stacks all content vertically, mimicking a traditional business card format. It provides a simple, scrollable view optimized for mobile engagement.
Great for QR code scanning and trade show use.
Templates
To maintain design consistency across your organization, card layouts can also be preset using a template. Your team admin may apply a template to your profile. When a template is applied, you will not be able to change any locked features. Learn more about templates here.
Note: Team admins can create or edit templates from the dashboard and apply them across subteams
