This article explains how admins can manage team settings in Popl Teams to customize branding, control login requirements, and configure important global settings for their organization. Only admins can access and modify these settings in the dashboard.

Accessing team settings

Follow these steps to access your team settings:

  1. Log in to your Popl dashboard at dash.popl.co/settings

  2. Click Settings in the left sidebar.

  3. Select Team Settings.

Customizing branding and team details

In the Team Settings page, admins can:

  • Upload and set a company logo to replace the Popl Teams logo in the top left corner of the dashboard.

  • Edit the company name displayed across the dashboard and on digital business card links.

  • Enable or remove Popl branding for your team and members’ digital business cards.

  • Auto add members with the same email domain to the team: Automatically adds members to your team when they log in with your organization’s SSO if their email domain matches.

  • Subteam admin management: Enable this option to allow subteam admins to add and remove members from their subteams.

  • GDPR Sensitivity: Enabling this mode ensures that lead data collected via Popl complies with GDPR regulations. View more details here.

These options help maintain consistent corporate branding across your team’s digital assets.

Enforcing single sign-on (SSO)

Admins can enforce Single Sign-On (SSO) for all team logins to enhance security and simplify user management.

Prerequisite: SSO must be activated for your organization. If not yet active, contact us at Popl support to complete the activation process.

  1. Go to the Team Settings section in the Popl dashboard.

  2. Locate the Enforce logging in with SSO toggle.

  3. Switch the toggle ON.

Once enabled, team members will be required to log in via SSO.

Troubleshooting common issues

  • Cannot find the SSO option: Ensure you have admin permissions to modify team settings.

  • SSO activation pending: If the SSO toggle isn’t visible, confirm activation is complete with us at Popl support.

  • Members bypassing SSO: Double-check that the Enforce SSO toggle is properly enabled and saved.

By managing these settings, you can create a seamless, secure, and branded experience for your Popl Teams environment.
